COMPUTER REPAIR TEAM

The last few years have afforded great opportunities in the computer industry.   Many groups were donating equipment to us and helping us to use these systems in our local schools.  This has resulted in the creation of our own Computer Repair Team.  These members have been working on a pilot project demonstrating their abilities to diagnose, test and repair stand alone machines, networks, and internet functions we use in today's economy.  Currently the market and need for these skills greatly exceeds the amount of people that can provide these services.

Therefore as an extension of the STARS Services we are now providing this team on call to the local USF/Tampa Community.  USF's state contracted technical support company charges $55/hour for simple computer setup to over $120/hour for detailed network trouble shooting.

The STARS Computer Repair Team can provide most of these services for $30-$60/hour.

Key Benefits
Team approach to solving detailed computer problems.
The Team will have "trainees" at hand, to provide an increase in their staff & capacities.
The Team is currently on call, and can provide direct support at USF.
The Team is specialized with Hardware installation and repair for networked Windows 95, & NT and has used and tested Linux, Windows 98, SCO Unix
